So Brynn needed new gloves and slippers. She sucks her fingers so mittens and gloves do not stay on long but fingerless gloves do and last years were too small so I crochet her some new ones. No pattern, just freehand. The bunny slippers were a bit of a chore to make and I changed some things from the original instructions by Teresa Searle in her book "Easy Felted Accessories". But they are very sweet and stay on :)

Dinosaur hat and other animals

Been mad busy getting ready for the release of UKHandmade. I'm tutorials submission person so I've been getting the ball rolling and making my own tutorial for a Dinosaur hat scarf. It was great fun to make but hard work to write it all down, create patterns and take photos. Got another photo of Brynn in the chicken hat too!

So I now need to look for more tutorials for both the 1st edition and the Christmas supplement. :) If you have one you would like to submit then email me at

Content needed:

  • Photos of finished product and some during the making of.

  • Photographs of specific points during the tutorial if a photo is the best thing to show a process.

  • Written instructions.- Drawn diagrams/instructions if need be.

  • A little bio about you (50 words max) and your name.

  • Links to your web site

All tutorials should be the authors own original design and work.

Credit will be given for all tutorials.

Baby Rocketman hat

Perfect for your little baby this winter. Cute coloured bear lining and fleece outer. Buttons sew firmly into place with button to secure under chin. Slightly misshapen due to bears ears but it would look so cute on. The neck is long at the back to keep out the wind and is also great for baby wearers becuase of this!! Age - newborn - 6 months

Little felted jumper baggie

Perfect for either your little madam or as an cute evening bag to go with your funky outfit. Lined with linen and held closed with a button. Soon to be for sale at

New Gigglehugs - chicken!!!!

Decided Gigglehugs felt better than Gigglewrap and have made more. Sadly my 2 year old daughter is now refusing to be a model so we have an 'ITNG' Ball instead. It just doesn't do them justice sadly. They fit around a 2 year old upwards to atleast 8 years old. They do fit adults but are really too short and not long enough in the forehead to work (will be branching in to adult ones soon). Older children just roll the scarf part down instead of folding it up.

Gigglewrap or maybe just a Scarfhat

I will be taking better photo's soon and making new version as well including babies, boys and adults.
The idea is, it's a scarf and a hat all in one. So no draughty necks where the wind get in and no flying off hats and funky and cute too!

Fairy Glade

Trying to get everything back on track after Christmas. Pre Christmas was a huge rush with craft fairs and publicity so now I need to get refocused and have been updating my Devianart & Dawanda & Etsy & Giggleicious Stores with new work. Am also visiting my family in Wales at Easter so need to make stock to take down for my Mum to pimp. Mother's are so good at pimping artwork!! Just need to start making a more regular income so things are not quite so tight!!
